Web design pricing in Springfield, MO: the three plans and the first-year cost
The three concept sites (fictional businesses). A plan builds a site like these, around your own business.
Every plan is a custom-designed website, not a template, built and looked after by Get It Ready, and you pay for it as a monthly website subscription with no upfront cost: $0 until your site is live. On launch day you pay the first month, or the whole year with two months free, and the 12-month minimum begins.

What “one local page or article a month” means on Growth
Every month on the Growth plan, we suggest a topic, write one new page for your website and send it to you. Once you approve it, we publish it. It is not a post on someone else’s blog: the page lives on your own site, under your own domain, and the words stay yours (see the terms).
Each page is aimed at something a person near you might type into Google. It is one of two kinds:
A service page, for one job in one place. For example, a roofer’s page on storm damage repair in Nixa, or an HVAC company’s page on furnace repair in Springfield.
A guide to a problem homeowners in your towns run into. For example, what to check on a roof after hail, or what to try before you call about a furnace that will not light.
Those are examples, not a fixed list: we suggest each topic from your trade, your towns and the work you want more of, and nothing goes up without your OK. The page is separate from your hour of changes, and from the Business Profile work (categories, photos and posts) that Growth does alongside it. A new page does not guarantee a ranking. It gives Google one more useful page about what you do and where. Local SEO in Springfield, MO explains the profile work and what it cannot promise.
Buying the website outright
If you’d rather own the site from day one, you can: $2,500 once, plus $79 a month for hosting, security and keeping it running. In the first 12 months that’s $2,500 + (12 × $79) = $3,448, and afterward it’s $79 a month. We offer this, but we don’t push it: the plans exist so a local business can start with nothing due up front.
What every plan includes
A custom-designed site: your own layout, words and photos, not a theme with your logo on it
Hosting and the https padlock, with your domain registered in your name
An estimate form that sends every request to your email
Up to one hour a month of changes, made by us
The technical SEO groundwork: titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap, speed, and Google Search Console set up with your sitemap
A monthly report
Some features are listed as “on the way, not live yet” on the home page: your own dashboard, automatic review requests, an AI assistant and online booking with deposits. We list them so you know the direction, but they are not part of what you buy today.
What you own
Your domain is registered in your name from day one, your words, photos and leads are always yours, and after 24 paid months the design and code are yours to keep at no cost. The full list is on the terms page.
How the options compare
There are four common ways to get a website. This is how they differ in what you do and what you’re left holding; the money depends on the vendor, so ask each one for the first-year total in writing.

Get It Ready
Caleb, who you talk to
Get It Ready, included in the monthly price
You, from day one
If you are working out the total cost for a contractor, the contractor website cost guide walks through what drives the price.
Request a call back with your name, phone number and trade. Caleb calls you to talk about your business and which plan fits, with no obligation. We design the site and you approve it before it goes live. Nothing is due until launch day, when you pay the first month or the whole year, and the 12-month minimum begins.
02What is the catch with $0 until it’s live?
There is no setup fee and nothing to pay while we build or while you review. The cost of designing the site is folded into the first 12 months, which is why there is a 12-month minimum that starts on the day the site goes live. After 12 months it is month to month with 30 days’ notice, and your monthly price covers hosting, security, your hour of changes, SEO upkeep and the monthly report.
03Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see is the price: it covers hosting, the https certificate, security, up to one hour of changes a month, the SEO groundwork and the monthly report, with your domain registered in your own name. The only thing outside the plans is advertising: Google Ads is not part of these plans. We may offer it later as a separate service, and you would pay Google directly, in your own account.
04What does Growth add, and is it worth it?
Growth adds a managed Google Business Profile and one new local SEO page or article every month, written by us and published on your own site once you approve it. That is the work that helps people in your town find you on Google and Maps. Whether it is worth it depends on how much of your work comes from people searching nearby. If most of it comes from referrals, Essential may be all you need, and we will tell you honestly.
05Can I pay for a full year at once?
Yes. On launch day you can pay for the whole year instead of the first month, and you get two months free: $1,990 for Essential instead of $2,388, or $3,490 for Growth instead of $4,188. The 12-month minimum starts the same day either way.
06Can I just buy the website and own it?
Yes. The outright option is $2,500 once, plus $79 a month for hosting and keeping the site running. If you stay on a monthly plan instead, the design and code become yours at no cost after 24 paid months. Either way, your domain, content and leads are yours from the start.
Leave your name and number and Caleb will get back to you to set up a short call about your business. No pressure, no obligation — and $0 until your site is live.
